No H8 Campaign

Every single person who lives in this country deserves to have equal rights. It does not matter if your black or white, male or female, gay or straight. I am shocked at the reality of people's perception of homosexuality, flabergasted that Prop 8 passed in this day and age. My reality is that no I cannot marry the girl of my dreams in 90% of the states in the USA. I am shocked at all the people who stare at me when I walk down the street holding my girl's hand. I mean have you never seen a gay person? Do you think I'm an alien? I was raised in the south by a catholic mother but was always taught to be open minded and that everyone deserved the same opportunities in life, the same chance at happiness. I think people will look back at this struggle and say wow in 2009 there were still that many closed minded people.

I came across the No H8 Capmaign website today and wanted to share it:

Check it out and make sure your thoughts are not twisted when it comes to equal rights.
