Talking Bout

What do you know about Dick Chicken? Is it a band? A brand? My friend Jeff? I'm not too sure myself but I do know I like this picture created by Justin Mair as an homage to Dick Chicken.

I heart NY

Milton Glaser designed the original I heart NY logo in the 1970's. After 9/11 he redesigned the logo to show the world that NY may have a small scar on it's heart but it is loved more than ever.

FRENZY Release Party

AMAZING time on Wednesday at the Suicide City album release party. The crowd was rowdy and sexy just like the band they came to celebrate. Danny was moving so fast on the drums it was hard to keep up, AJ had his game tight on lead guitar, Karl's voice and lyrics were right on and Jenn's bass playing and backup vocals pulled it all together. Karl, AJ and Jenn were all over the stage and in the air playing their asses off! This was my favorite shot that I have seen so far. Brooklyn We Go Hard!!Check out Suicide City and buy the new album at www.suicidecity.com

DC @ SC Show

Sometimes you are exactly where you are supposed to be with the exact right people! And when you are really lucky there will be a sign that helps you actualize the thought "I am so blessed!!!" Inside joke but this sticker was that for me last night... and yes this is the only dick that will ever be on my blog!!

No H8 Campaign

Every single person who lives in this country deserves to have equal rights. It does not matter if your black or white, male or female, gay or straight. I am shocked at the reality of people's perception of homosexuality, flabergasted that Prop 8 passed in this day and age. My reality is that no I cannot marry the girl of my dreams in 90% of the states in the USA. I am shocked at all the people who stare at me when I walk down the street holding my girl's hand. I mean have you never seen a gay person? Do you think I'm an alien? I was raised in the south by a catholic mother but was always taught to be open minded and that everyone deserved the same opportunities in life, the same chance at happiness. I think people will look back at this struggle and say wow in 2009 there were still that many closed minded people.

I came across the No H8 Capmaign website today and wanted to share it:

Check it out and make sure your thoughts are not twisted when it comes to equal rights.
