MILK

The story of Harvey Milk is amazing and it filled me with pride and hope but also fear. I felt proud about so many people accepting and understanding that he and his partner deserve rights as much as the next people in love. It gave me hope that the battles we face today will also be overcome. But I also felt fear about how many people out there did not and still don't understand.

Without hope, life's not worth living ~ Harvey Milk

110% Agreed!

Truly - an amazing film. The scene at the end with all the people holding candles marching in memory of him was heartwrenching & beautiful at the same time.

The fact we as a country in 2009 are still not allowing people of all creeds / walks of life the same rights... is absolutely ludacris.

Here's to the hope that films like this one will continue help push the momentum for equal rights for all. :)

People are killing each other all over the world and yet people find it important to put there efforts into keeping the labels of uniting people defined by their standard, Amazing!
Brick could marry a lamp (Anchorman reference) and I would not be able to careless. Not to say that two people of the same sex is ridiculous but just that I could care less about telling people what (or who) they can and can not feel connected to.
