Saturday night was off the hook! We went to a friends birthday party at Santos Party House and danced our asses off to DJ Premier. Santos is a dope place with two floors a good sound system, tons of room and lots of hott ladies. DJ Premier's blend of hip hop, funk and pop had us moving and sweating until 4am. Then we hit an afterparty in a wharehouse in BK. Nothing like getting home when the sun is coming up!
It's the final season. The end of a story that has given so much to women from all walks of life across the world. If you ever thought you were gay, had a gay best friend or were just curious about women who were gay this show had all the answers and told a heartfelt story. The final season starts off with one of the main characters being killed in the first five minutes. It's like reading the last chapter in a book you loved... you want to know what happens but are so sad to see it go.
The story of Harvey Milk is amazing and it filled me with pride and hope but also fear. I felt proud about so many people accepting and understanding that he and his partner deserve rights as much as the next people in love. It gave me hope that the battles we face today will also be overcome. But I also felt fear about how many people out there did not and still don't understand.
Without hope, life's not worth living ~ Harvey Milk
